Support for our Armed Forces

Vertex has a profound gratitude for the sacrifices being made by the men and women of our Armed Forces. They routinely go in harm's way with little thought of their own safety. Some make the ultimate sacrifice. They serve as our vanguards of freedom, and we wish them all Godspeed and a safe return home.

As a small token of our appreciation, any Vertex employee who qualifies will receive a lifetime membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars, should he or she so choose. This is a very small "thank you" for a job well done.

Vertex Participates in EPA Green Power Partnership

Vertex Technology Management® will offset 100% of its electricity usage at its area offices as a Partner in the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Green Power Partnership, and is recognized as a member of the Green Power Leadership Club. Vertex purchased its renewable energy certificates through WindCurrent, a Maryland-based company that sells renewable energy certificates in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a result of this investment, electricity generated from Mid-Atlantic wind farms will be supplied to the region’s power grid, replacing electricity generated from less environmentally friendly sources.

Clean energy makes good business sense. Our region’s quality of life depends on making sustainable business decisions, and we all live here. Vertex Technology Management is concerned about the environment, and is pleased to participate in Green Power Partnership renewable energy certificate program.
